Man Gives PDRM Officers 'The Finger' On Hari Kebangsaan & Gets Arrested In Return

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has cracked down on a man who recorded himself giving the middle finger to a couple of police officers in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, 31 August
According to Kosmo, the incident allegedly took place in front of the Lot 10 shopping mall located in Bukit Bintang at approximately 12.15am.
In a video that went viral, the man could be seen recording himself making an obscene gesture at two PDRM officers who were on duty while their backs were turned away from him.
The police caught wind of the man's actions when the video was reportedly uploaded on Twitter and began circulating on social media
According to Sinar Harian, the suspect has since been arrested and was placed under police custody for three days.
Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Dellhan Yahaya reported that the 39-year-old suspect was a foreigner and is currently being investigated under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955 and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
Delhan has advised the public not to commit any acts that violate the laws in Malaysia. Any violation will not be tolerated and will result in harsh consequences.
